Willie M. Rhodes, 75, of Hilltop Lakes, entered into rest Monday, March 7, 2011. A memorial service celebrating his life is set for 11 a.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011, at the Hilltop Lakes Chapel.

Willie was born August 20, 1935, in Belton, Arkansas, to Walter and Lena Ray Rhodes. He worked in the oil and gas industry and retired from McDermott Engineering.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Christa Rhodes Taylor, and a grandson, Stuart Duane Rhodes.

Survivors include his loving wife, Georgia Rhodes, of Hilltop Lakes, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Rhodes, of Channelview, Texas; daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca Sprang, of Dallas, Texas, Deborah and Tom Dowdy, of Friendswood, Texas; grandchildren, Tammy Sims, Will Rhodes, Andrea Sprang, Nikki Dowdy Kessling, Max Taylor, Rex Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Tommy Dowdy, Franky Dowdy; great grandchildren, Shelby Sims, Cody Sims, Madison Sprang, Dominque Taylor, and Miles Kessling.
