Guestbook

  1. Court,
As you already know Larry was a special person. I don’t think I ever saw him without a smile on his face and a warm hug to give. Our family will miss him being part of our family and joining us in the special moments in our lives.
When you think you cannot go any further in anything you do, remember who believed in you, supported whatever you did and loved you unconditionally! He always will.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
    Sincerely,
    Donna, Robert and family

  2. Mr.Larry, words cannot say how much you will be missed!!!! I am going to miss our Whine and Wine Fridays, game nights and great conversations!!! Missing you terribly!! Candy

  3. Larry,

Kyle and I have lived behind you in Copperfield for over 20 years. We will miss seeing you in the front yard with your dog and talking to you. You were a great neighbor.

  4. I worked with Larry for several years in what was then the Personnel Department in the YMCA Building at TAMU. I learned much from him, but more importantly, I remember his kindness and wonderful sense of humor. He was a true gentleman. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

  5. Larry will be remembered by many people because he touched everyone he met in a special way. It’s been awhile since I worked with him doing income taxes, but it seems like yesterday and he was always as I remembered him each time I saw him since. I hope his family will remember the very special person he is. He was always respectful, loving, generous, kind, patient and just a good person to everyone. May he enjoy God’s presence now and forever.

  6. Larry, we are missing you already. I will never forget our game nights and interesting conversations and what a wonderful host you were. Thanks for helping me get my citizenship. I will make chiles rellenos on your honor soon, I know how you liked them.
A great and caring friend, we will always remember you!

  7. Court, I first met Larry when you became a student at St. Michael’s. A few years later, when he–and you, right?–went to Qatar, I very much enjoyed the fascinating letters he would send about your lives in that part of the world. Those letters were much appreciated.
What a delightful, friendly, kindly man he was. How blessed you were to have him–and he you!
    Constance Brown

  8. Larry was a kind man who always had a smile. I saw him recently after many years and he was the same – big smile and kind heart. I worked with him at Texas A&M Human Resources and he oversaw job applications moving from paper to the world wide web! He will be missed. Heaven welcomes you home. Prayers for your family.

  9. Larry was a good friend and a better person. I worked with Larry at A&M HR and he knew his stuff, was fun to be around and was a true professional. We bowled together and enjoyed many lunches over the years. He always had a joke, loved his family and was always ready to help with any problems. He will be missed.

  10. Larry was a good friend to my grandparents, Betty and Jim Potter. I enjoyed visiting with him when I would run into him at their house. I know he will be missed.

  11. I am sorry I am unable to attend the service today. Please know I am praying for your family. Larry was a good friend of mine from TAMU and Troop 977. I enjoyed our times together and respected his professionalism, integrity and positive outlook. He was always keen to serve others, a great representative of Jesus!

  12. On behalf of Class 61-C, Air Force Officer Candidate School, I would like to express our condolences to the family of Larry Potts, our classmate and friend.
