Reverend Johnny Sloan, Retired, long time local Baptist Pastor, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Christmas Day, 2020. He was 82 years, 11 months, and 10 days old.
Pastor Sloan is survived by his wife, Allene Miracle Sloan; son, Troy (Jackie); daughter, Terena (friend Joe Anaya); granddaughters, Anna Maria Alonzo, Kamrey Luza, Charlie Marie Sloan; grandsons Stephan Spears (Crystal), Caleb Sloan; great granddaughter, Shealeigh Spears; sister-in-law, Carolyn Sue Miracle; his brother, Reverend Carter Sloan (Lorita), of Roanoke, Va.
Life Tribute Celebration will be at 12 noon, Friday, January 15, 2020, at Rock Prairie Baptist Church – College Station.

I have many good memories of Brother Johnny. He was a faithful servant of Christ to the end. We found much opportunity serving alongside this brother in reaching a lost world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He baptized 2 of my children that are going on to continue that outreach to the ends-of the-earth. We miss you brother, but will soon meet again in glory.
Thank you for your kind words about my dad. He truly loved the Lord.
