Dennis Krc, 54, of Bryan, passed away after a courageous battle with COVID-19, in Texas City. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm, Friday, August 20 and his funeral service at 10 am, Saturday, August 21, both at the funeral center. As a precautionary measure all guests are required to wear a face mask or face covering. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

Dennis was born on November 29, 1966 to Edwin and Bessie Hanus Krc in Bryan. He attended schools in Bryan. Dennis was a larger than life guy with a tremendous personality. He possessed a humble drive for success while providing for his family and friends. Dennis was an outdoors man; rarely did he want to spend the day indoors. He would prefer to be working on a vehicle, planting vegetables and flowers in the yard. Dennis had a great passion for riding motorcycles, the two-wheelers were his preferred method of transportation, regardless of weather. Motorcycle travel and camping were his favorite pastimes; he also enjoyed building wood and metal projects as well as listening to music on the equipment he built and practicing bass guitar. He had a sense for family life and wanted to provide for all. He will be remembered most for his genuine acceptance of all.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Krc and his brother, Edwin Fred Krc Jr.

Dennis’ legacy will continue on through his wife of 31 years, Helene Krc; his mother, Bessie Krc; his sister, Cindy Milberger (Joe); his brothers, Danny Krc (Penny), children and grandchildren he claimed as his own Ryan Weber, Eyan Silva, Alina Silva, Brielee Weber; Bonnie Gonzales (Michael), Russell Weber (Kassie), Brayden, Brinlee and Bailey; his extended family members, Shantell Collins (Salomon), Will Collins III, Jalen Collins, Jada Collins, Seandre Collins; and other close friends of the family.

Dennis’ family would like to extend a very heartfelt appreciation to his co-workers and work family of TxDot for all the wonderful love and support given to the family during this time. We want to thank all the doctors and nurses at HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland in Texas City for all the wonderful care of Dennis.

Please honor Dennis with your memorial donations by giving to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Brazos Food Bank, his two favorite charities.
