He was a proud career Army Soldier and Vietnam Veteran.  It was his privilege to serve his country.  He married Mary Prather and celebrated 60 years of marriage. David liked to do woodwork, and fish and hunt when he was able.  After retiring from the Army, he worked in the Texas oil fields and then was a truck driver so he could see more of the country he loved.  Our family is grateful he is resting in peace and reunited with his bride.
