To my Auntie……
The next best thing to my Mother, was my Auntie. Her love for me was precious and I’ll miss her dearly. But knowing she is with Mother will ease my pain. Auntie you gave me my first cup of coffee, a recipe for marriage (believe me it’s true), that I’ve held onto for 35 years to pass on to my granddaughter. The trips to Palacios, lots of memories and the best homemade peach ice cream ever you and Bob would fix for me. (Bob would say… Jody does it taste like soap yet?) Your love for Bob was so geniune as I said thanks for the recipe! A very strong willed woman I will always admire. Your pain and suffering is now gone away, please rest in peace my beloved Auntie.
