Johnnie Flores, 52, of Navasota, passed away April 21, 2016 in Navasota, Texas. Visitation for friends and family will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 at St. Michael’s Chapel at 2402 South College Ave. in Bryan. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 30, at St. Michael’s Chapel in Bryan, with interment immediately following at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota. Funeral services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.
Johnnie Flores was born to Salvador Flores Sr., and Bridgett Rios Flores in Navasota, TX. Johnnie was a man who enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing in our local rivers and lakes. Johnnie really had a great time at family cook-outs in the backyard. He enjoyed family time. Johnnie previously worked at the Navasota Livestock Auction Barn for several years.
His mother precedes him in death, Mrs. Bridgett Rios Flores.
His survivors include his children Johnnie Jermaine Flores, Melanie Flores, Natasha Flores; his father Salvador Flores Sr.; his brothers Salvador Flores Jr., Frank Flores; his sisters Jane Flores, Alicia Atkinson, Virginia Sauls and husband Danny, Mary Richardson and husband Troy, Tammy Vasquez and husband Tino; his nine grandchildren; and other close relatives and friends.
