Georgia Ann Stewart
July 26, 1967 – March 22, 2015

Georgia Stewart, 47, of Bryan, passed away on Sunday, March 22 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. A visitation will be from 10 to 12 noon on Wednesday, March 25 at St. Michael’s Academy Chapel, 2402 South College Ave, corner of Williamson and South College in Bryan. Graveside and interment will follow in Smetana Cemetery in Brazos County. Celebration of Life Ceremonies are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Georgia Stewart was born to Eugene Stewart and Iona Mae Hyvl in Bryan. Georgia was a loving spirit who enjoyed planning family events. She was always looking for social event to bring her family to or create for them. She cherished her pet dogs Little Bit, Snookie, Tiny and Muffin.

Preceding her in death is her father.

She is survived by her husband Roy Payton; her children Natalie Palasota, and William Gene Palasota Jr; her mother Iona Mae Hyvl and step-father Alton Hyvl; her sisters Cindy Stewart, Dorothy Redmond, Robyn Heath, and step-daughter Cara Ann Ball; the father of her children William Samuel Palasota Sr.; and other close relatives and friends.
