Earl Alvis Turner, 91, of Dallas passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. He was born on February 27, 1928 in Kaufman, TX to his parents, Claud and Vera Turner. He served honorably in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Earl was mechanically inclined and could fix any machine that needed servicing. He was a man of faith and will be missed dearly.
Vickey Johnson, his daughter preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Glenda (Daniel) Tucker, Micheal Earl (Kathy) Turner, Timothy Alvis (Stacey) Turner, and Cindy (Keith) Browning, Steven Wilaford; brothers, David Turner, and Newton (JoAnn) Turner; sister, Bobbie Lou Lacey; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends.
The graveside service will be held 2 PM Wednesday, March 13th at Kleberg Cemetery on Woody Road in Dallas, TX. Arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Center of Bryan-College Station. Express condolences at www.CallawayJones.com
