Jack W. Rose, 83, of College Station died Wednesday.
A memorial service will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at A-M Church of Christ.
Arrangements are under the direction of Callaway Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Rose had retired from the U.S. Army as a lieutenant colonel.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bruce Rose of College Station and Christopher and Diane Rose of Cedar Hill; a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Phil Woodall of DeSoto; a brother and sister-in-law, Col. Frank L. Jr. and Jo Rose of Norman, Okla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
