Arvin is survived by his daughter, Peggy Newman and husband Roderick; stepdaughters, Brenda Shoels, April and Amber; stepsons, Justin Campbell and Michael Campbell; uncle, John Curtis; grandchildren, Alyssa Johnson, Patrick Red and Sammie Shoels; niece, Alayisher King; and close friends, Galey McClendon, Christa Carter, Michelle King and Robert Red.

He was preceded in death by his wife Delores Shoels.
