Spoonts is a unique last name.
Since 1983, I have had a 3/8″ ratchet
with Bill Spoonts etched in the handle.
I got it from a friend of mine that died
in 1996. I was reading the obituary of
Mr Spoonts today and noticed he had
a son with the name Bill Spoonts.
What is strange, is that I was at Top Notch
Hamburgers on Burnet road in Austin
Texas today and read the obituary
in the Austin American Statesman and
I was transported back to 1983.
My friend that died in 1996 was an
electrician working for Sam Wooly of
Wooly electric.
