Condolences

  1. I hope that Uncle Bill’s enormous capacity for love and tenderness will help to comfort you at this time, and I wish that those wonderful qualities that he shared with all of you will continue to carry you well into the future.

We love you and we are very sorry that we have lost Uncle Bill – some of the best parts of him are in all of us.

    Judy, Cindy, Rich and families

  2. Pat and I send our sympathies to Eileen and the Kuvlesky family on Bill’s death. Bill was a good friend. I knew him for over 20 years. When I joined the A-M sociology faculty in 1992 as the department Head, I selected Bill to be my associate head; this was a wise decision because Bill steered me the right way through many difficult situations and decisions that first year. He advised me and helped me tremendously. Bill was a major figure in our department. We will surely miss him.

  5. Aunt Eileen and family, We extend our deepest sympathy for your husband, father and our uncle.
I remember Uncle Bill dragging us kids around Amish country on one of his visits, he always made us feel like a grown-up. He would converse with us on a different level and was always interested in our ideas and thoughts. He was a special uncle.
Our Prayers are with you all. We Love You,
Ed, Linda, Ashley, Joshua, Matthew and Kyle Kuvlesky

  6. Eileen,

I’m very sorry for your loss and for the grief you and all members of the Kuvlesky family are experiencing.

Bill was a wonderful colleague, a dedicated sociologist, with high standards and a passion for justice. He enriched the program in countless ways.

  7. Bill Kuvlesky had a distinctive soul and a powerful intellect, he was a gifted and inspiring teacher who enabled success for all whose lives he touched. I will miss him as a generous friend, a mentor –and a poet as well. Above all, he was a loving family man and a great human being. Eileen: I will keep Bill and you and your family in my prayers.

  8. Eileen –
I was so sorry to hear about your husband’s death. May your faith and the support of family and friends comfort you during this very sad time,

    Ann Pittman
