Vivian Marie Winstead
October 28, 1950 – May 13, 2015

Vivian Winstead, 64, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, May 13 at St. Joseph Regional Health Care in Bryan. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm on Wednesday, May 20 at St. Michael’s Academy Chapel, 2402 South College Ave, Bryan. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Vivian was born to Norman and Barbara Beltz in Dodge City, Kansas. She attends college after high school and later marries her husband Kent Blake Winstead Sr., on November 18, 1972. Kent and Vivian raised two sons Kent Jr and Travis. She was blessed with six grandchildren and the proud mother of a US Solider serving in the Air Force. Vivian although enjoyed the pitter-patter of grandchildren in her home and seeing her grandchildren mature into young adulthood; she loved the great out doors of country living. She had her unique way of embracing the earth and its treasures that she shared with her family.

Preceding her in death are her parents and her sister Lorritta Joy Beltz.

Her legacy continues through her husband Kent Sr.; her son Kent Blake Winstead Jr and wife Amadora, and her son Tech Sgt. Travis Jason Winstead; her grandchildren Xavier Michael Winstead, Haven Nathaniel Winstead, Sierra Dawn Winstead, Addyson Faith Mungia, Gloria Rose Mungia, Gracie Lynn Winstead; her brothers Jerry Rubenich and wife Karen, Wesley Rubenich and wife Sharon, Norman Beltz Jr., Richard Beltz and wife Shirley; David Allen and wife Kelly, numerous Uncles, Aunts, nieces and nephews and other close relatives and friends.

  1. To the family of Vivian: I am so sorry to hear of the death of Vivian. I had not seen her for
    a very long time but we were in class together at Jetmore High School. I stayed several times
    at their house and always thought a lot of Barbara & Norman. My thoughts and prayers
    are with you at this time.
