Virgil Eugene Gage, 78, of Bryan passed away Monday, September 22, 2008, at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Services are set for 10 a.m. Friday, September 26, at Callaway-Jones Chapel with interment following at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 25, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home.
He was born on August 26, 1930, in Taylor, Texas, and had been a resident of Bryan for 30 years. He served in the US Army and retired from the air-conditioning business.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie Gage of Bryan; daughter, Theresa Ann Deberry of Eldridge, Iowa; sister, Ruby Urbanovsky; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
