Tito Turrubiartes

Tito Turrubiartes, 66, of Bryan, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, in College Station. His family will receive guests during the visitation beginning at 6 to 8 pm, with a rosary recited at 6:30 pm on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be at 11 am on Monday, June 19, 2017, at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Bryan City Cemetery. Funeral services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station.

Tito was born in San Luis Potosi Mexico to his mother Celedonia Sordia. He was a man that wanted the most out of life for his family in all their endeavors. Tito will be remembered by his family for the gift he shared in gardening and providing beautiful flower gardens for all to see. He spent many hours making sure his treasured gifts were perfect for all to enjoy. Ttio took great pride in being an employee through TAMU Groundskeeping service for all his students and visitors to enjoy the vast colors of flowers through campus. He was a member of Santa Teresa Catholic Church.

He is survived by his son Alvaro and wife Theresa Turrubiartes; his daughters Lucia and husband Miguel Gonzales, Elidia and husband Daniel Herrera, Angelica and husband Jorge Guevara; his wife Eluteria; his mother and step-father Celedonia and Martin Gallegos; his two brothers Ismael and wife Tomasa Gallegos, Antonio Gallegos; his sisters Margarita Gallegos, Maria Gallegos, Elvia Gallegos; his sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
