Thomas Carr

Thomas Carr, 67, of Bryan, passed away Friday September 12, 2014 at Sherwood Health Care in Bryan with his family by his side. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Thomas was born October 6, 1946 in Groesbeck, Texas, to William and Gladys Carr. He retired from the oilfield and was a proud veteran of the US Army.

Preceding him in death were his loving wife Ellen Carr and his brother Jake Carr.

He leaves behind his daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Jeff Mortashed of College Station, Cynthia and Kenneth Johnson of Huntsville, Helen and Sammy Garcia of Bryan; sisters and brother-in-law, Barbara and Perry Rollins, Sue Rockey; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He will be missed here on earth but what a reunion it had to be in Heaven! TC is a legend in my eyes! He taught me more around the coffee pot than others could have done in 100 years. It was my privilege to work by his side.
