Susie Harvell

Susie Harvell, 65, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, May 24 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. A visitation will be held Sunday, May 26 from 1 to 5 pm at the funeral home. A graveside service is set for 10 am on Monday, May 27 in Bryan City Cemetery. Ray Bomnskie will officiate. Her services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Susie was born to John R. and Grace (Winslow) Bomnskie in Bryan. She was 7th of eight children. Susie was a great friend and mother to all who knew her. She was caring and giving of her time to those in need. Susie enjoyed her family and friends, until her health no longer afforded her the ability to share such love in her home. She loved her grandchildren deeply. Susie was baptized Catholic at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Johnny Bomnskie.

She is survived by her sons, John and Tina Harvell, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Danny and Becky Harvell; her grandchildren, Jordan Harvell, Clayton Harvell, of Bryan; and Ty Harvell of Ewa Beach, Hi; sisters and brothers-in-law Betty and Gene Zulkowski, of College Station, Dorothy and Oscar Wolff, of Bryan, Annette and Roland Harrison, of Bryan, Margaret Gott, of Bryan, Frances Scanlin, of Houston, brother and sister-in-law Ray and Debbie Bomnskie, of Bryan; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Memorial donations are asked to be given to the American Heart Association.
