Samuel Matthew Ramirez (Infant)

Samuel Matthew Ramirez
May 1, 2018 – May 3, 2018

Samuel Ramirez, infant son of Juan and Kari Rosenbaum Ramirez and brother of Luke Ramirez, was called home to be with Jesus on Thursday, May 3, 2018, in College Station. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be at 11am, Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Bethel Lutheran Church. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station.

‘“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” John 14:1-4

Although Samuel’s life on earth was short, we celebrate knowing that his eternal life has begun in one of those rooms in Our Father’s house. We draw strength from Scripture, knowing Jesus said, “Let the little children come unto me.” Samuel’s soul is with his Creator. As his parents, we are saddened beyond words by his passing, but we are full of faith that we will see him again. Luke will always be his big brother and will remember him through pictures and in prayer.

Samuel is preceded in death by his grandfather Wilbert Rosenbaum; aunt Christina Ramirez; his great-grandparents Everett and Mildred Justice, William Rosenbaum, Linda Rosenbaum, Hilbert Rosenbaum Jr., and Emma Ramirez.

He is survived by his parents, Juan and Kari; his brother Luke Benjamin; his grandparents Wanda Justice Smith and husband Robert, and Juan R. Sr, and wife Sylvia Ramirez; his great-grandparents, Vicente Ramirez, and Clemintina Gonzalez; his aunts and uncles, Robin Tomchesson and husband John, Richard Rosenbaum and wife Jennifer, Theresa Mendez and husband Robert, Laura Segura and husband Chris; and other relatives and close friends.

We wish to thank you, our family and friends, for all the prayers and support we have received from you and your family. Our lives will be different, as we were preparing to bring home our son, but we have a new direction to flow with Samuel in spirit.
