Rodrigo Garcia, 85, of Bryan, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in Hearne. A visitation will begin at 9am, and followed with his funeral service at 10am, on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Iglesias Nueva Vida (New Life Church), 607 San Jacinto, Bryan. Interment will follow in Bryan City Cemetery. Life Tribute Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers Bryan-College Station.
Rodrigo was born in Davilla, Texas, to Leonardo and Timotea Ramirez Garcia. He went to work at an early age to help his family. Rodrigo became a skilled backhoe operator, a trait that isn’t seen much today. He had his own talent in music playing the harmonica at will. He loved his small family and would provide various entertainments for them all.
His parents, his siblings Juan, Mike, Ben, Mary, and Julie; his son and daughter Ricky and Rebecca; all precede Rodrigo in death.
Rodrigo is survived by sons Rodolfo (Rudy) and wife Valerie Garcia, Rodrigo Jr.; his grand son Angel Storm Garcia; his brothers Frank Garcia and Eugenio Garcia; numerous nephews and nieces.
