Robert O’Bella


Robert O’Bella, 52, of Bryan, passed away peacefully Thursday June 25, 2015 at Hospice Brazos Valley in Bryan. A Celebration of Life memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. on July 6, 2015 at St. Michael’s Chapel in Bryan. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home and Crematory.

Robert was born March 19, 1963 in Bryan, Texas, to Josephine and Cruz O’Bella.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jesse O’Bella Sr., Manuel O’Bella; brother-in-law, Sebastian Pineda.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Miriam Hupp-O’Bella; son, Robert Allen O’Bella and wife Rachael; daughters, Casey O’Bella and Jessica O’Bella; three grandchildren, Tryndall Waller, and Talan and Liam O’Bella.

Other survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Gloria O’Bella of Bryan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Oralia Sifuentes of Hearne, Doris Pineda of Bryan, Virginia and Pilar Espitia of Bryan, Victoria and Trinidad Gonzales Sr. of Franklin, Sarah O’Bella of Hearne, and Adela and Earl Jackson of Hockley.

The family extends a special thank you to Hospice Brazos Valley and to the Texas A&M Physicians (Dr. Sirucek) for the love and care they gave Robert.

In lieu of flowers Robert asked for donations towards his daughter’s education, please mail to 3001 S. College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801.
