Reginald Perry Lands, 87, of Anderson, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011, in Navasota. A graveside ceremony celebrating his life will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011, at the Bryan City Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral Home.
Reginald was born July 24, 1923, in Houston, Texas, to John Sullivan Lands and Maudie Perry Lands. He was a Pharmacist and he attended Pharmacy School at the University of Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Barry Lands.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Helen Susan Lands, of Anderson, Texas; sister-in-law, Alma Moon, of Pasadena, Texas; and good friend, Dan Rodriguez, of Anderson, Texas.
Reginald was a good man. He always took care of his wife and child. May he rest in peace now. Aunt Maudie Lands was so proud of her son! They are probably making homemade peanut brittle or banana pudding up in Heaven! We all love you Helen and you are in our prayers.
