Raymond Neumann

April 29, 1924 – June 13, 2010

Raymond Neumann, 86, of
Bryan, passed away on Sunday,
June 13, 2010. Services are set
for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 17,
2010 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran
Church in College Station, under
the care of Callaway-Jones
Funeral Home & Crematory in
Bryan.
Raymond was born in Brenham,
Texas on April 29, 1924 to Otto
and Margaret Neumann. During
WWII, Raymond served in the
Army Air Corp., as a radar operator.
After serving in the military
he went to work for S.W.
Bell. He and his wife Lorena
raised their family in Wharton,
Texas until his retirement. They
moved to Bryan-College Station
where they have lived for the
past 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Lorena
of Bryan; his son, Mark
Neumann of Austin; his daughter
and son-in-law, Linda and
Van Goerger of College Station;
brother and sister-in-law, Albin
and Nell Neumann of Brenham;
sister, Gladys Brauner of Burton;
sister-in-law, Emma Belle
Neumann of Brenham; and two
grandchildren Garrett and
Nicholas Hunter Goerger.
