Patricia Hubbard

January 5, 1947 – July 24, 2018

Patricia Lee Hubbard, 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Throughout her life and in her final hours, she was surrounded by her loving family. Pat was a caring, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Pat was born in Aliceville, Alabama, on January 5, 1947. She was a graduate of Shelton Community College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Pat worked as a computer operator until she moved to Zachary, Louisiana to raise her family. Her greatest passion was educating children; she taught at ZUMC The Little School for 17 years. Pat spent her leisure time enjoying the company of her family and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Pat was a woman full of love and laughter, and knowing her was a blessing.

She is proceeded in death by her parents and her husband, Randall Hubbard. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Goff, and husband, Jim; daughter, Randi Elliott, and husband Ben; and son, Jeff Hubbard; her grandchildren Whittney, Alexis, and Burke Daigle II, Benjie, Adison Kate, and Rhodes Elliott, Luke and Zach Hubbard; and her great-grandchildren Emma Mounce and Rheid Havard.

Visitation will be held at Zachary United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 9:30-11:00 AM. The memorial service will begin at 11 AM, conducted by Rev. Jimmy Babin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Pat can be made to ZUMC The Little School.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all those who cared for her during her illness. Pat’s gift of joy, shown through her contagious smile and sense of humor, will never be forgotten.

Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers in Bryan-College Station.
