Ora Neeley, 95, of College Station, Texas, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2012. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Bryan City Cemetery.
Ora was born October 30, 1916, in Falls County, Texas to James and Lula Blasingame. She attended schools in Lott and Rogers, Texas, and moved to Bryan in 1947. She worked in retail sales and retired from K-Mart in 1984.
Ora was preceded in death by her parents; husband William McCoy; husband Wayne Neeley; one son, Billy Charles McCoy; two brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Christene and Bobby Wright; daughter-in-law, Alice McCoy; five grandchildren, Stuart Wayne and Melvin Wright, Renee and Craig Koppel, Sondra and Robert Walker, Michael Lee McCoy, and Billy Charles “Chuck” McCoy, Jr.; six great-grandchildren, Rachael and Brent Sears, Cameron McCoy, Blake McCoy, Zachary Tullos, Brittany Boller, and Madison McCoy; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Haley and Colton Sears; 2 sisters, Georgia Schober and Marilyn Owens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley.
