L. Wayne Guidry

L. Wayne Guidry was born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, on September 8th, 1944, to Aline and Fiss Guidry. He embarked on his eternal fishing trip on January 23, 2025, at the age of 80. 

Wayne had an undeniable passion for fishing, and on most weekends, you could find him at Lake Summerville, enjoying the serenity of nature alongside his beloved dog, Cookie. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, always ready to lend a helping hand. 

Wayne was the kind of person you could count on, always going out of his way to assist others whenever he could. His infectious smile and witty sense of humor brightened the lives of everyone around him. 

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who cherish the wonderful memories created with him. Rest in peace, Wayne. Your legacy of kindness and laughter will forever remain in our hearts.
