Thomas Drummond Wilson Jr., 84, of Bryan, TX passed away on July 22, 2024. A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 1 pm at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan, TX. The service will be officiated by Pastor Mike Williams of Northview Baptist Church. A reception with snacks and refreshments will follow.
Thomas was born on February 12, 1940 in Tabor, Texas to parents Tom and Louella Wilson. He later on attended Bryan High School and graduated in 1958. Upon graduation, Thomas enlisted in the United States Army where he went on to serve his country proudly.
After his time in the Army, Thomas spent many years working for the city of Bryan where he was a Purchasing Manager. He also spent time working for the National Guard as well as being a home builder.
It was no secret that Thomas loved the outdoors. He enjoyed his time deer hunting, bass fishing, and working in his backyard that he kept so well.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife 0f 62 years, Rosalie Wilson. His son Thomas Wayne Wilson, his sister Cornelia Britton, his Godchild Debra Driver, and best friends Douglas and Janell Landua.
Thomas is preceded in death by both his parents, his sister Edith Frances, and hunting buddy John Bonfazi.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Bryan Fire Department, Kayla Smith with hospice, and Jessica Bruce with Home Instead.
