Stephen Bryan Ferguson

Stephen Bryan Ferguson, born March 27, 1962 in Whittier, CA passed away March 31, 2025 in College Station, TX unexpectedly.

Steve is survived by his wife Olga Ferguson, his daughter, Margaret (Mars) Ferguson, son, Benjamin Ferguson, his mother, Susie Ferguson, sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Robert Bujarski, nephew, Nathan Bujarski, and mother-in-law Olga Rosales.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree at University of California at San Diego, and his PhD in Chemistry at University of California at Los Angeles. Following his PhD, Steve continued his post-doctoral work with a NIH research fellowship at Harvard Medical School. As a business analyst and operations manager for Roche Pharmaceuticals, Steve oversaw and coordinated research and software teams in support of global pharmaceutical initiatives. He was an active member and ministry assistant of Grace Church in Clifton, NJ until the family moved to College Station Texas in 2020.

Steve's most important career was raising and educating his two children, Mars and Ben to be critical thinkers, fearless learners, and compassionate human beings. He was a devoted father and husband who loved to garden and study history. He was well known by the neighbors on his block as a kind and generous man always willing to lend a helping hand and share any tools or expertise he had to offer.

Visitation begins 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025 College Station Memorial Cemetery, 3800 Raymond Stotzer Parkway, College Station, TX 77845.

Please join the family for a repast directly after the service at Villas of Rock Prairie clubhouse, 100 Mortier Drive, College Station, TX 77845.
