Stacy Leon Garrison Sr., 54, a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and adventure. Born on January 17th , 1970 in Bryan, Texas to Novella Garrison & William McMurray, Bubba was a pillar of strength and compassion to all who knew him.
He is survived by his spouse Daphne Garrison, his four children Stacy Garrison Jr., Keandra Garrison, Demarcus Garrison, and Reagan Garrison, his two Grandchildren Kingston Mwarabu and Ace Garrison, his Sister Tracy Dickson & Brother William Garrison Sr. his best friend Edward Charles Jackson, along with multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother Novella Garrison & Father William McMurray and Brothers Lee Garrison Sr. and Michael Garrison.
A devoted family man, Bubba cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Whether participating in family gatherings or sharing stories around the campfire at Bryan Lake. He made every occasion memorable. His love for his family was unparalleled, and his wisdom and kindness will continue to inspire generations.
Bubba had a zest for life that extended to the great outdoors. He found solace and joy in road trips that allowed him to explore new landscapes and make lasting memories. Camping under the stars brought him peace, and fishing in tranquil waters was his favorite way to unwind. No summer was complete without a Garrison Family barbecue, where he delighted friends and family alike with his grill-master skills and infectious laughter. Beyond his roles as a family man and adventurer, Bubba was also a natural leader. His integrity and compassion endeared him to his community, where he served as a mentor and friend to many. For the last 25 years of his life, he excelled as an expert in gutter installation throughout Brazos County & the surrounding areas.
In honor of Stacy Garrison’s life, his family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate his journey at Callaway Jones Funeral & Cremation Centers. A celebration of his life will be taking place Saturday, July 20th, 2024 from 10am to 12pm.
Though Bubba may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
