Rosemary Moore passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, March 5, 2025, at the age of 87. She was born on June 17, 1937, and raised in Bryan, Texas. She lived a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Rosemary devoted over three decades working at First National Bank of Bryan, beginning her career in 1970 at its downtown office and retiring in 2007. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—reading, solving crossword puzzles, and watching Law & Order—the OG series, not SVU.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Jack (Cathleen) Wallin; sister, Doris Frank; and daughter, Catherine Ann Thornton.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Dana of Bryan, and Marsa (Doug) McKee of Bryan; her grandchildren, Justin McKee of Houston, Stacey (David) DeStefano of Austin, Andrew Tarver of Spring, Ben Thornton of Spring, Abby Tarver of Austin, and Jack Thornton of Bryan; her great-grandchildren, Catherine and Ryan DeStefano; her brother, Frank Thomas Wallin (Judy); and nephew, John Keith Wallin (Deidra).
A funeral service and visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 12:30 to 2:30 PM at Callaway Jones Funeral Home in Bryan.
