Robin Lynn Mack

May 17, 1961 — January 27, 2023

She never forgot a birthday. A weird way to start this, but in today’s day of digital cards and electronic reminders, it is rare to have someone who hand signs a card and always remembers. Without fail, all of her nieces and nephews would receive a card on their birthday with the same number of dollars as the age they were.
Robin was the first grandchild on the Baker side. She held a special place in the hearts of both her Papa Jack and Gramma Ruby. She spent her youth playing with cousins and shepherding baby siblings, and her young adulthood loving her two daughters, Lacey and Cassie. She was generous beyond all measure when she had the means, and would splurge on fun trips to Sea World, Six Flags and the like for her children, siblings, nieces and nephews. Overnight visits always included her favorite, Dr. Pepper.
Robin attended Texas Tech University and received a degree in Drafting from Cisco Jr College. She finished her working career as a drafting supervisor at Black & Veatch.
Robin loved Christmas and family trees and crafts and making art. Her heart was dedicated to and filled with the love of God. Pretty flowers brought her great joy, and she dreamed of endless beaches.
Robin passed into the arms of her creator surrounded by family… not just surrounded, but touched, held onto, tethered by love and grief. She was 61 years old.
Robin’s funeral will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday February 11th at First Baptist Church of Bryan 3100 Cambridge Drive Bryan, TX 77802 We welcome anyone to come and help us honor and mourn her.
Even though she may have left behind this mortal world, she leaves us with a legacy of life: her oldest daughter, Lacey Randolph, married to Christopher Randolph, and her three children: Ethan, Blake and AJ. Her youngest daughter, Cassie Baker, and her son Aidan. Robin is also survived by her husband, David Mack, her parents, Robert Baker and Judy Ince, and siblings Nolan Baker, Shelley Baker and Brooke Molineux.
Her family is so very grateful that her pain is over. She’s walking and breathing freely now on some eternal stretch of sand, and leaving art in her wake, and smiling. And we all know she’ll never forget our birthdays.
