Robert "Bobby" Alton Cox

Bobby was born on October 28, 1953 in Panama City, Florida. Memorial service will begin at 11am, Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Bethany Baptist Church, 9215 FM 391, Hearne, (corner of FM 391 and FM 2549). Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

He lived in Texas the majority of his life and was proud to be a Texan. He was the type of person that knew no strangers and made friends wherever he went. Bobby grew up in College Station and went to A&M Consolidated High School. He was a floor installer by trade for over 40 years. He enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed hanging out with his friends and having fun. Even though many of his good friends have already passed on he treasured the ones that he had left. He was always there to lend a helping hand when needed.

Boby was preceded in death by his father Carl Cox, mother Mary Decker and sister Janice Decker Kaml. He is survived by his son Robert Cox, his daughter Megan Cox, brother Carl Cox (wife Linda), sister Cheryl Garcia (husband Mike), sister Tina Mireles (husband Zeke), and by his brother John Decker. He is also survived by his nephews Joey Garcia (wife Laura) and Scott Garcia (wife Tori). Bobby also had two special babies, his dogs Maggie Mae and Spanky Spank.

Bobby’s favorite saying was “Another day in Paradise”. He is now in the real Paradise, RIP.
