Richard Nolan White

Richard Nolan White,88, passed away on December 27, 2024 in Bryan, Texas. Richard was born on July 24, 1936, to Hugh David White and Opal (Dodie) Koester White in Houston, Texas. Richard married Annette Tilotta White on September 13, 1975. They have one son, Michael Nolan White, and one grandson, Keith Phillip White.

Richard lived in Houston until he was 10 years old and moved with his parents to Denison, Texas. He spent most of his career working for various newspapers, in sales and marketing. 

He also spent several years in the service industry for petroleum companies, working for companies that moved jack up rigs and semisubmersible rigs all over the world. 

Richard and Annette lived in Houston, Texas, Big Spring, Texas, Corvallis, Oregon and in Grayson County, Texas for 26 years and moved to Bryan, Texas in September 2018 to be closer to Michael, his wife Brooke and their son Keith.

They were members of First Christian Church in Denison for 26 years. They became members of First Baptist Bryan in November 2018, where they have been active members as well as members of the Open Door Group Life Class.

Richard and Annette were involved in many community projects, wherever they lived, serving those in need.

Richard is survived by his wife, Annette, son Michael and his wife Brooke, and grandson Keith.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Forest Park Westheimer, located at 12800 Westheimer, Houston, Texas 77077. A Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Bryan, located at 3100 Cambridge Drive, Bryan, Texas 77802, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025.
