Peggy Ann (Dyer) Page passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, in Bryan after a brief illness. A private service will be held by the family.

Peggy was born in Rockdale, Texas to Morris Shelton Dyer and Mary (Callaway) Dyer Palermo.  She was raised on a dairy farm in Hearne, Texas with her parents and two sisters.  Her family moved to Bryan when she was 13.  She remained a resident of Bryan for the rest of her life.  She married John “Jay” Orion Page in May of 1962. They were married for 60 years.  Jay passed away 3 days before Peggy.

She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed crafts, yardwork, and traveling with her sisters.  She looked forward to the Callaway Cousins’ Camp every year with her large extended family.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jay” Orion Page Jr., her mother Mary (Dyer) Palermo, her father Morris Shelton Dyer, her stepfather Sam Palermo, niece Ruth Smith; nephew Mark Whitley; brothers-in-law Bill Smith and Wynne Whitley.

She is survived by her sons Morris Page and wife Lisa, Neal Page and wife Kimberly; daughter Jennifer Johnson and husband Roy; grandchildren Olivia Sims, Valerie Page, and Trace Johnson; sisters Barbara Smith and Janice Whitley; stepsister Phyllis Pollard; nieces Becky Dula and Lisa Daniel; and the Callaway Cousin Clan.

Peggy will be dearly missed.
