Orpha “Lucille” Hopper

Lucille passed away suddenly in Malakoff Texas at the age of 87. Lucille retired from Kerr-McGee Oil Company and was an avid outdoors woman, she loved to hunt and fish. She would always find her peace on a river bank or in the woods hunting. She is survived by her daughter, Geneva Wilson, and son, Roger Hopper Jr and wife Tiffany, and sister, Martha Brinkley Smithey, and grandchildren, Sean Wilson, Codie Cooper and husband Steven,Brooke Hopper, Roger “Trey” Hopper III, Emily Hopper, And great grandchildren, Oliver Cooper, Owen Cooper, and numerous nieces Lucille was the daughter of Charlie and Orpha Strasripka. She was preceded in death by her husband Roger C Hopper, sister Virgie Worthington, brother Charles Strasripka, and her parents.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm – 1:30pm June 29, 2021 at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan Texas. Graveside services are set for 1:45pm June 29,2021 at the Old Bethel cemetery located in the Harvey Community.
