Olen Leon Williamson

Olen Leon Williamson, 80, of College Station, passed away peacefully to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 19, 2022, in College Station. Visitation will begin at 9:30 with the funeral service at 10am, both at the funeral center. Interment will be in Willowhole Cemetery. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

He was born February 3, 1942, to Luther and Ethel Williamson in Bryan. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin High School, he attended Sam Houston State University, Allen Academy and Blinn College. His career included the Bryan Fire Department, CIT Finance, TAMU Police Department, and later TAMU Purchasing and Stores. After 31 years of employment with Texas A&M University, he retired in 2005.

Surviving family include the love of his life JoAnn Garner Williamson. They married June 3, 1962, at the Free Will Baptist Church and were happily married 60 years. They had three daughters, Connie (Richard) Armstrong, Geneva (Ross) Todaro, and Michelle (Jon) Edwards; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
