Morris Patrick Siegert

May 13, 1954 — April 13, 2023

Morris Patrick Siegert, 68, of Conroe, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 13th, 2023.  Patrick was born on May 13, 1954, to Colonel Robert W. and Dorothy Siegert, Jr (of Bryan), at the US Army Hospital in Stuttgart, West Germany.

An Army brat, Patrick frequently moved and lived at many places but graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in College Station and attended and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Curriculum and Instruction in 1976, While at A&M he joined the Corps of Cadets, outfit A-1, and then went on to join the Parsons Mounted Cavalry for his junior and senior years.  He then followed with a master’s degree from A&M in Parks & Recreation.

Patrick was commissioned into the US Army Reserves in December 1977.

Patrick started his professional career as a Director for the City of College Station Parks and Recreation Department.  From there he went into banking with Bryan Building and Loan and University National Bank, where he served as a vice president. Learning much about real estate business at UNB, Patrick launched Siegert Real Estate Group in 1990, beginning a long and successful career in real estate in the Brazos Valley and the San Antonio area. Patrick was active in the community, volunteering with many non-profits—including the Animal Shelter, Bryan Development Foundation, the Aggie Field of Honor, and as a past president of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce.

He recently married Angela Smith, and they moved from College Station to Conroe.  There he enjoyed spending his time boating and playing golf–and loving his grandchildren, who called him ‘GranPatter’.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Col. Robert W. Siegert, Jr., and his grandson, Barron Haze Siegert.

Patrick is survived by his wife Angela Smith Siegert and family, and his children and their spouses: Ryan and Jaime Siegert and Britton and Megan Siegert of College Station; his mother, Dorothy Clary Siegert of College Station; his brother and sister, Colonel Robert W Siegert, III, and wife Faye, of Chantilly, Virginia; and Suzy Hines, and husband Robert, of Bryan. Patrick also leaves behind his grandchildren, Rylan, Remi and Olivia Siegert and Madison Hammond.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, at Callaway Jones Funeral Center in Bryan.  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21, at the College Station Cemetery on Texas Avenue.
