Upon his time in the military, he later made his residence in Bryan, Texas where he lived since 1981. Mark then made his career as a successful truck driver for 30+ years, he worked for Mid South Bakery Company for 25+ years, and ended his career working for the City of College Station.
Hobbies and interests of his included playing horseshoes, darts, spending time with family, and sitting on his front porch.
He was a great father, grandfather, father-in-law, husband, and overall family man. His presence and ability to make everyone laugh and smile with his stories will stay with us forever. He would always find ways to bond with each grandchild over their interests. He went along with all the children’s requests such as the Christmas photos they took in their pajamas. He would sit around all day taking and telling stories on the front porch. His humor stood out whether he was making a joke or picking on Mom. Although he wasn’t a man of many words, you knew he loved you and would always be there for you.
