Marilyn Marie Englemann

Marilyn Marie Englemann, 62, of College Station, Texas passed away on July 25, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, 10 a.m. at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan, Texas. Reverend Harvey Abke from Burleson County Cowboy Church in Caldwell, Texas will be officiating the service.

Marilyn was born on December 5, 1960 to parents Anton Englemann Jr. and Ann Cahill in El Paso, Texas. Marilyn later went on to graduate from Bryan High School and became a resident of College Station starting in the year of 2013.

Marilyn was a member of the Cowboy Church in Caldwell, Texas and shared many hobbies. She loved her dogs, especially “Cowboy”. She enjoyed taking pictures, dancing, and looking into family genealogy.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her father, Anton Englemann Jr. She is survived by her mother Ann Cahill, sisters Nita Davis of College Station, Elaine Pletzer (Steven) and Christie Monroe (Butch) of Bryan, nephews Matt Davis, Brandon Domenico, Arthur Suarez, and Josh Watts. Nieces Ashley Watts, Clarrisa Suarez, Alexandria Monroe, and seven great nieces and nephews.

She never forgot anyone, and probably has pictures of them. She loved her nieces and nephews with a passion and would do anything for anyone. Marilyn’s spirit has departed from her body, however, her love surrounds us all. How lucky are we that have known her and embraced her. Saying goodbye may be difficult, however, we can look forward to a glorious reunion with the promise of Christ’s redeeming love and Grace.
