Louis Dalton Andrus

Louis Dalton Andrus, 84, a resident of Bryan passed away  Thursday , November 24,2022 at his home in Bryan . Visitation will be at 1 PM until time of Service at 2 PM, Sunday, December 18, 2022, with Rev. Ned Smith officiating both at Callaway Jones Funeral Home in Bryan, College Station.

Mr. Andrus was born in Brazos county to John Reed and Anna Miller Andrus. He loved fishing, hunting, and going to car shows. He was an airman apprentice in the US Navy, he was aboard the USS Hancock and specialized in electronics.  He was also vice president of Oceanonics , he went on later to own his own business and ,after he retired, he returned to Bryan to live out the rest of his life. He was loved and respected by all who knew him! He was a wonderful dad and will be missed dearly!

He is survived by his 2 sons , Louis Neal Andrus and his wife Eunjoo, Gary Jones, 3 daughters Linda Daniel, Donna Adams and husband Kevin and Lori Hatherley and husband Stephen, 15 grandkids, 16 great grandkids , 5 brothers and 1 sister.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Nelda Andrus, his second wife Susan Andrus, one son, William Jones, son in law William Daniel, one brother, Milton and one sister.
