Loretta Ann Woodard

Loretta Woodard, 61 of Houston, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Houston.  Graveside service will begin at 10:30 am, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bryan. Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.

Loretta was born on August 19, 1960 in Houston to Franklin DeWitt and Callie Cemino Woodard.  As a child, she spent lots of time with her grandma Cimino and her many cousins.  One of her fondest memories was Sunday evening gatherings at her Uncle Charlie’s house where she would visit with her many aunts and uncles and play with her cousins for hours.  She truly loved her family and friends, but her greatest joy was the birth of her daughter Shantell.

Her parents, Franklin and Callie; her grandparents, Luke and Benedetta Cimino, and Amy Coates Woodard; all preceded Loretta in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Shantell Collins and her fiance, Salomon Hernandez; her grandchildren, Will Collins III, Jalen Collins, Jada Collins, and Seandre Collins, her many cousins, and her beloved dog Onyx.
