Lisa Doeblin Lawrence, aged 62, passed away peacefully on October 30th at the MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. The service honoring Lisa D. Lawrence will take place at 3001 South College Avenue on Saturday, November 5th at 10am at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan, Texas. The burial will take place following the service at the Aggie Field of Honor, 3800 Raymond Stotzer Parkway.
Lisa D. Lawrence was born in Pasadena, Texas to Ronald and Anna Lee Doeblin on May 21st, 1960. Lisa was an excellent student, taking Algebra in the 8th grade, and graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Austin, Texas in 1977. She met her husband, F. Barry Lawrence, in 1987 and on their first date went to see the Smooth Jazz band, Hiroshima. Married on September 30th, 1989, Lisa was a career banker until the birth of their second child at which point she transitioned to the role of full time Homemaker in 1994. Lisa was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2008 but fought through it and enjoyed 10 years of full remission guiding her children through their early adulthood and nascent careers. In 2018, the cancer returned and she fought again for four hard years until eventually succumbing to the disease.
Lisa is joining her Father, Ronald Doeblin, and her Older Brother, Vernon Keith Doeblin and is survived by her Husband, Dr. F. Barry Lawrence, Mother, Anna Lee Doeblin, her Elder Sister, Pamela Springfield, Daughter, Marin Lawrence, and her two Sons, Ryan and Jarrod Lawrence.
