Lee Adams

Lee Reyes Adams, 92, of Bryan, Texas passed away on January 9, 2025, at St. Joseph Manor Assisted Living.

Lee was born on August 17, 1932, to parents Julia and Pedro Adams in Nixon, Texas. He attended school and gained his education in Gonzales, Texas.

Lee was a cement mason for Spaw/Glass and Baker Construction and ended up retiring in 1995. Some of his favorite hobbies include fishing, landscaping his yard, taking care of his pets and tinkering with his chevy truck. He enjoyed watching classic westerns and watching his favorite sports teams- his beloved Tennessee Titans, Houston Astros, Texas Aggies, as well as watching his granddaughters play softball.

Lee is survived by his sons Richard Adams, Robert and Donna Adams, daughter Linda Contreras, Yolanda and Toby Garcia, all of Bryan, Texas. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and twenty great-great grandchildren.

Lee is preceded in death by his wife Josephine Adams, parents Julia and Pedro Adams, daughters Mary Sauceda, Sylvia Farmer, Diane Andrade, brother Gilbert Adams, sisters Marcela Mendoza, Olivia Gomez, one son-in-law, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 6-8 pm with rosary beginning at 7 pm at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan, Texas. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Bryan, Texas.

Pallbearers that will have the honor of assisting will include Robert Adams, Paul Balanga, Jacob Garcia, Rudy Ramirez, George Contreras, Luis Manrriquez, and honorary pallbearer Richard Adams.
