Larry was born in Sherman, Texas on March 24th, 1952 to Jack and Minnie Casey. Larry graduated High School in Abernathy, Texas and had called College Station home for the past 30 years.
Larry met and married Anita Kennedy in Abernathy, Texas and joined the US Army from 1976 to 1982. While serving in the Army, Larry was deployed to Camp Casey in South Korea and enjoyed chauffeuring the Lieutenant Colonel around, and growing his art portfolio.
Larry and Anita raised daughters, Carolyn and Amanda, in places such as Lubbock, Waco, and College Station, Texas. One of Larry’s favorite pastimes was betting Carolyn quarters on football games. Quarters lined the entertainment center awaiting the winner, and still to date, dusty quarters lay beneath the TV.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 2pm at Waco Memorial Park. Larry will be relayed to rest next to his beloved daughter, Carolyn Casey.
In lieu of flowers, while drinking responsibly, buy a beer and raise a toast to our favorite beer man.
