Katherine J. Jones

Katherine (Tucker) Jones received her angel wings on July 21, 2020 in Bryan, TX.
Katherine was born in Dallas, Texas on January 29, 1927 to David E. and Jennie (Moffett) Tucker.
Katherine lived in Dallas most of her life where she raised her children, Jerry, Joyce & Cathy. She retired from Methodist Hospital Dallas where she worked as the supervisor of the hospital distribution center.
Katherine enjoyed knitting, gardening, playing dominoes and visiting with family.
Katherine moved to Madisonville in early 2000 to be closer to her sister, Joy and attended the Church of Christ.
Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Cathy Weatherford and grandson, Craig Jones.
Katherine is survived by her children, Jerry Jones (Nan); Joyce Anderson (Alfred); sisters Joy Baumgardner Springfield and Elizabeth Drexler Gullatt; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation, as well as, Hospice Brazos Valley for the love, care and support they gave Katherine and the family.
Interment will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, TX.
