Janet Stanley Miller

February 27, 1939 — November 9, 2023

“Let not your heart be troubled. You are trusting God, now trust me. There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for Your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so you can always be with me where I am.”  John 14: 1-3

Janet Stanley Miller passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at her home in The Langford Methodist Retirement Community.

After her divorce in 1965, Janet met and married Richard Stebbins Miller, from Seville, Ohio, with whom she loved and lived for 58 years, until her death. She particularly enjoyed playing Bridge and Mah-Jongg and attending hymn sings and social hours. In her new living environment, Janet was in her element and her family often referred to her as the “Queen of The Langford.”

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard “Dick” Miller; two daughters, Sherry Norman Wine and husband Bobby of College Station and Shellie Norman Cornelius of College Station; and son Marty Norman and wife Dianna of McKinney.
