James Tidwell

James Robert Tidwell, 75, of Hearne, Tx, passed from this life on August 27, 2021 after a courageous battle of cancer. Services will be held on September 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Hearne, Tx. Visitation is from 9:00-10:30 am, Service 10:30 am and burial to follow at Norwood Cemetery in Hearne, Tx.

James was born on October 11, 1945 to Leonard Tidwell and Ina Lee Adams. Married the love of his life Johnnie Faye Tidwell, January 13,1968.

James served in the Army for 2 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. James retired form AT&T after 41 years.

James had a great love of his country, family, and friends. But his greatest love were his animals and the Robertson County Fair Grounds.

James was proceeded in death by his parents, and a son, John William Tidwell. He is survived by his wife Johnnie Faye Tidwell, son and daughter-in-law Raymond and Kimberly Tidwell, sister and brother-in-law Debra Lynn and Ray Amos, brother-in-law and sister-in law Billy and Mary-Ann Seaton, and sister-in-law Mildred Seaton . He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren: Whitney Wright, Christin Tidwell, Taylor Tidwell, Shianna Tidwell, Russell Wallace and his wife Laura Wallace, Mark Wallace and his wife Amy Wallace, Scott Wallace and his wife Jessica Wallace, and Nick Wallace and his wife Sawyer Wallace. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family would like to strongly encourage that masks be worn to the services.
