Services for Buddy McLoud, 87, of Bryan will be 2pm Tuesday May 9th at Callaway-Jones in Bryan with minister Gene Van Noord officiating, with a private burial in Salado to follow.
He died Wednesday, May 3, at a Bryan Alzheimer facility.
Mr. McLoud was born February 27, 1936, in Shackelford County, Texas to J.D. and Mozell (Smith) McLoud. He attended schools in Breckinridge, and after 13 years of service in the Air force, worked for Bell Helicopter and later retired from B.N.S.F. Railway.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dora Lee (Collins) McLoud, his parents and two brothers, Jerry and Wayne McLoud, and a grandson, Micah.
Mr. McLoud is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Turner) McLoud, two daughters, Debbie Wigley (Bill) of Morgan’s Point Resort, Patti Shumate (Scott) of Salado, two sons, Sam Pierce (Shelly) of Keene, and Boyce McLoud (Crisitie) of Kingsland, 10 grandchildren: Ronnie, Rusty, Jessica, Dusty, Brandi, Lisa, Sammy, Logan, Emily, Zachary, and 13 great grandchildren: Alissa, Addison, Lauren, Tanner, Shane, Cooper, Jaycee, Tanley, Zachary, Stokely, Brody, Harlee and Ottilie. He is also survived by two sisters, Helen White and Wanda Wheeler.
Monetary tributes could be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project or any American Legion Post.
