Tinker Garcia, 59, of Bryan, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022, in Bryan. Visitation will begin at 5pm with the Rosary recited at 7pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2022, both at the funeral center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3pm, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Services are in the Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers, Bryan-College Station.
Tinker was born to Toby and Dolores Velasquez Garcia, in Houston on March 15, 1963. She was one of five children. She attended schools in Houston and later moved to Bryan in 1981. Her heart was always loving of children as she provided care to her family and friends children as her vocation. Tinker always supported her nephews and nieces in every aspect of life especially sports. She loved music of all sorts. She enjoyed time away at her casinos and college and professional sporting events. Her inner circle of friends was close to her heart; known as the Golden Girls.
Tinker’s greatest love was being with her family and friends. Her life was fulfilled being with them during holidays, birthdays, and she never met a stranger. She was a sign of peace for all. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Toby and Dolores Garcia.
She is survived by her life partner Cynthia Navarro; her siblings Toby and wife Yolanda Garcia, Victor Garcia, Yvonne and husband Bryan Little, Jennifer and husband Thomas Pavlas; her nephews and nieces whom she adored as her children Jacob and wife Melissa Garcia, Leslie Garcia, Victor Toby Garcia, Vvonne Garcia, Olivia Garcia, Vikke Garcia, Matthew (godson) and wife Sydney Little, Brittany Little, and Chase Pavlas; her great nephews and great niece, Emilia Garcia and Dean Garcia, Liam Little, John Anthony Guajardo, and Nicolas Guajardo; her goddaughter, Brianna Rosas; her beloved godparents, Tony and Mary Alice Cruz, who have been as parents to the entire family; her numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family and close friends.
Honoring the life of Tinker as Pallbearers are Jacob Garcia, Matthew Little, Chase Pavlas, Liam Little, Greg Chavarria, Brandon Velasquez, John Cruz, John Ed Velasquez, David Martinez, Orlando Davis, Martin Arredondo.
