Glenda "Freddy" Tucker

d. December 20, 2022

Glenda “Freddy” Tucker,73, passed from this life on December 20, 2022, leaving behind her love for her family, and many friends. Glenda was born on February 18,1949 in Belleville, Illinois to Earl Turner and Ola Samsky Turner. She was the oldest of five children and was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Vickie and Cindy. She stayed in daily contact with her brothers, Mike and Tim Turner. Family was the most important thing in her life. She was like a mother to her brothers and sisters. Glenda was blessed with one daughter Wendy Tucker Henley. Wendy and her husband TJ, gave Glenda the greatest gift she ever received, her two grandchildren, Caleb and Zoe. If you encountered Glenda, you were going to hear of her daughter and grandchildren. Her love for them knew no bounds. Pictures and stories were always shared with everyone. Glenda met Dan Tucker in 1976 and were together in marriage for 44 years. They moved to Bryan shortly after, and started two companies 3T’s Maintenance, and later Tucker Inspections. She was tagged with the road name “Freddy” by Dan, and their life in the motorcycle world. Those who knew her thru this world always called her Mama Freddy. She was always there to help sew on their colors and welcome them with her famous hospitality. She made sure to have an open bed and a hot meal if you came to her house. She traveled the country on the back of their Harleys, and loved going to rallies. They also traveled to many places in the world. Her love of nature and animals always gave her pleasure. She had a love for life, and a love for everyone around her. The world was a better place with her in it. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. At this time there will be no service. Freddy requested that her ashes be taken to their family’s cemetery in East Texas and be spread there with her relatives. We will let those who wish to attend this service know the date and location, at a later time. Express condolences at www.CallawayJones.com
